Overlooking sights?

Is it just me or does it seem that plenty of companies pay attention to rear sights that you can get on your gun but the front sight isn't given nearly enough importance? If I were to buy sights from a company I'd very much like a front sight as well that is made to pair with that rear sight.

Also, why is it that manufacturers don't make a different colored front sight for semi-autos? I've seen plenty of revolvers with an orange front sight and a white rear which I really like but this concept doesnt seem to have been taken to autoloaders.

Sorry, rant mode off.
