Fiber Optic Sights

I was thinking about purchasing some type of fiber optic front sight for my 1911. I got to use one a few weeks back and liked it alot. Is there any particular manufacturer that is better that the other? Springfield uses Dawson Precision on their Signature series. Which ones are the most durable? Thanks.

Have Dawson's on my STI Trojan and several Glocks.
They've done their homework well here. Have had no problems with them at all
so far.
