Has anyone tried Borbon Carbide Coating? It is suppost to be a black (dark grey) finish which is more durable than hard chrome. I heard that www.bodycote.com offers refinishing service through FFL sender for $200. Has anyone dealt with them before?
If this thing works it would be next greatest thing after Hard chrome in handgun refinishing.

You mean BORON Carbide? :D
ArmySon has one on a 1911, run a search at the Firing Line and at 1911forum.com I think www.parkcitiestactical.com (P7 Cult) has had a thread or two on it as well.
Haven't done it myself tho.
