High Power shooters: Why is it...?

Why is it that most everyone finishes up a stage with a variation of the words, "Thank God THAT'S over!", but can't wait for the next match?
Why is it that the ONE TIME you don't check your OAL, the rounds will be too long for the magazine?
Why is it that for your relay the wind gusts like crazy from 3-9 and then reverses midway through, while the relay that shoots while you're in the pits has a steady breeze from 6-12?
Why is it?

Because everyone shoots a stage badly on occasion.
Because most of us get lazy on occasion.
Because you amuse God, and He enjoys treating you like Job.
Because we do this for fun; not because our lives depends on it.

Yeah I have said that a few times, LOL
Those are not really something that I do, At least after the first time I did it.
Did end up shooting the 600 any-any this weekend with ammo I loaded for 2 different rifles over a 2 year period. I guess should try loading before the next match.
Its a crap shoot as you know here in CO. Roll the dice and pick a relay. i usually just like to get on the relay with the most friends so we all share the misery. I said to myself on sunday why am I getting hosed with the wind on the 3rd relay when the first two had it calm. At the end of the day I said I am glad I am on the 3rd relay in the pits while the wind was really bad.
We all just like to complain a little.

I don't know, but it seems to be the same thing I hear at CAS and IDPA matches; "Let's start early, hurry up, and get it over with."
Some sound like they'd have been happier just to have stayed home.

Highpower rifle is a demanding competitive sport not just in equipment, preparation and performance, but in mental attitude, emotional toughness, and intellectual agility.
If you want to get over your emotional and mental dramas, shoot a lot of competitive rifle at a high level. Your fate really in in your own hands. Are your hands weak? If so, get stronger!
