Jorg May 1, 2007, 08:38 PM This is all I've seen on it: http://www.ruger-firearms.com/Firearms/FAProdView?model=5814&return=Y http://www.ruger-firearms.com/Firearms/PDF/NewProducts/KMINI-6_8-5P.pdf http://www.theoutdoorwire.com/tow_release.php?ID=115388&session=q64hj4bg56a1gway Nothing more than company blurbs. Risasi May 2, 2007, 12:33 AM Pfft, I only care if they beefed up the barrel... Grayrock May 2, 2007, 01:19 PM OK, then Risasi, this one's for you. http://www.ruger-firearms.com/Firearms/FAFamily?type=Rifle&subtype=Autoloading&famlst=61 JesseL May 2, 2007, 02:01 PM I wonder if they'll ever do a Mini-30 in 6.5 Grendel? gripper May 2, 2007, 02:07 PM I like that they brought a good aperture sight into protduction. At a range I was shooting my old Polythech Legend at ,someone next to me had a 5.56 Ranch Rifle with the little folding rear sight. Guess what fell off during the first 5 shot string from the sandbags???Between the bad muzzle crowns on many production rifles, iffy triggers lack of tings I'd like( integral stripper clip guides,10 to 30 round mags) AND the flimsy rear sight.... Here's to hoping this represents the start of a new Sturm&Ruger production trend. Zantar May 2, 2007, 03:08 PM Felt my heart stop for a second after seeing the suggested price. Guess that would have been the first long range kill with a Mini 14. :p jestertoo May 2, 2007, 06:21 PM I suppose Ruger will only offer 5rd mags? kcmarine May 2, 2007, 06:28 PM Risiasi, the barrel is beefed up a bit. If you look at where the stock ends around the barrel, the barrel begins to thin up a bit. However, it doesn't go to the crown...
