I made a low offer on a Ruger Single Six at Gunbroker.com. I had no idea I would win it but I did......:D So here is my $225 Ruger Single Six...$15 shipping and $25 tranfer fee. I am happy............

Nice. And you can be justly proud. That would be a good price in my area.

That Is a good deal on a fun little gun. I got one of those about three years ago. Mine was a pretty good deal to, the guy GAVE it to me, for 0$. I checked the gun and it was clean, best deal I ever got.

Now, you need to buy a trailer-truck load of ammo, and see if you can wear it over the next several lifetimes.

I'll be wagering that ya can't (wear it out)

My dad has a Ruger Single Six bought by my grandpa back in the 60s, I believe. It's a very solid revolver and a great shooter. Enjoy it.

Did it also include the .22 Magnum cylinder?

Mine came with the magnum cylinder although I never even used it, is 22mag expensive?

It came in the Ruger plastic box with 22 magnum cylinder and owners manual. I shot it a few times today and it was very accurate. I sold a stainless Single Six several years ago and am happy to have one again. The blued ones have $400 price tags on them at local gun shops.

Very nice, and a great price! You'll be shooting that for years.

Good to hear that you got the .22WMR cylinder as well. They cost ~4X as much as .22LR to shoot, but they're quite impressive. When I took my .22WMR derringer to the range one day, someone made the comment "Oh, I see you brought a toy." That was until I fired off a few rounds. The muzzle blast and fireball say "This ain't no toy." :D

Sweeeeeet!! Looks like you got a great deal! I'm gonna check out that websight. I've had one since 1993 and plan to keep it for the rest of my days. Try the 22 magnum just for kicks! :D My single six and Mark II are still my 2 favorites.

.22 WMR is one of, if not my most favorite round to shoot. I get 50 shells for about 8 bucks. It seems to be a very accurate shell and cost half of what is costs me to shoot 9mm.

.22LR is a popgun compared to .22 WMR
