I have a Smith 637 and I like the gun (reliable, light, and powerful enough) and I was wondering what are the best options for concealment. In particular, what are the best IWB holsters for these little Smiths. Thanks for the help.

I bought an alessi iwb of ebay for like $25 or so.. I love it. I trimmed the sweat shield so it wouldn't interfere with my grip and it rocks.

I have a desantis iwb, which is outstanding. Holsters, especially consealment rigs are a matter of personal choice. A holster that I like may not be to your liking. That's why so many of us end up with a lot of holsters that go unused. You are lucky insomuch as you have an easily concealed weapon which is light too.

Robert Mika makes great holsters including an IWB holster, with or without a top strap for only $21.95.

His pocket holsters are outstanding too for only $15.95, not to mention what a gentleman he is.

I have both and I'm totally satisfied with his products.

If you order an IWB from MIka, ask for an open bottom that ends at the barrel...these are not molded so it makes the gun fit much better...and you'll have less excess leather in your pants which helps with sitting down if you carry appendix style ....

If you want something a bit more custom, check out www.concealco.com They make a nice slim rig.

I use a horsehide del fatti with offset clip...best IWB I've ever used for a snub...but his lead time is over 18 months now...

I don't use IWB holsters because they're not comfortable for me but I can tell you that the inexpensive DeSantis Pocket Nemesis does a terrific job for cargo pants and shorts front pocket carry, especially if you live in a warm climate and sweat a lot. As it's used, it conforms to the gun and actually gets and feels better in your pocket.

+1 on the Desantis Nemsis pocket holster. I'm able to easily conceal a J-Frame in the Desantis in places where I can't carry my IWB P99c or OWB CZ75-B.
