I've seen this advertised in a few places and am wondering if it's worth a look - http://gunvideo.com/pgroup_descrip/67/4986/

Is the instructional aspect any good?

Jerry is a great shooter, and knows about everything there is to know about revolver shooting and reloading.

I found this video interesting to watch, and there are some tips you can pick up from watching. But the video probably won't tell you much that you don't know, or couldn't learn from various other sources (like this site). There's no big "secret" that Jerry shares with you.

So, if the price of the video means some other sacrifice, and you're looking for alot of instructions from it, than I'd say, no.

But if the price isn't a big deal, and you'd be satisfied with it for the few tips in contains, plus the interesting conversation with Jerry while he's shooting, than I'd say go for it.

I could watch Jerry shoot all day even if he wasn't talking. As a revolver shooter, he's the one I strive to emulate.

thanks - that's what I'd wondered. But I would be interested to see him in action.

I own this DVD and think the same than DragonFire.

Interesting, but not really a "must have".

I have watched the History channel's "Sharp Shooters"program a few times in which Jerry is featured. He does talk a bit about the primary importance of trigger control, secondary importance of front sight concentration, and ignoring what happens on target.

Beyond that he flat out says that "I'm not going to give you any more tips, you just have to shoot 300,000 to 400,000 rounds and find out for yourself."

All of the great trick shooters interviewed say the same thing. no big trick but practice, practice, practice.
