Should I shoot my new Beretta Billennium?

I picked up a Beretta Billennium last week and have been gazing at it's beautiful fit and finish. I really want to shoot it, but I hate to ruin the resale value of this limited edition pistol.
So, should I make a shooter out of it, or just stash it away?
I have lots of other 9mm's to shoot, so it's not like it is my only gun.

tough call...I dont really know what the collectibility of this pistol is...but if it has some potential to become a high dollar item, then it may be best to stash it.
But if you are really just ITCHING to shoot it....then by all means...that is what gun are for. Another thing to do is, go buy yourself a different 9mm beater...and go shoot that....that may settle your urge to shoot a new 9mm. :D

Its like having a high performance auto in the driveway and you wont take it for a spin around the block, A beautiful women in the bed and... you get the idea. I say drive it , screw it and shoot it if you got um. Enjoy it-- life is short my friend and getting shorter every day. Just my opinon, I could be wrong.

In an era when everyone has a limited edition of something, it all becomes a non-issue. Shoot your gun.

Usually, whenever I buy something I really like, I try to get two, one to shoot and one to keep new. This, though, doesn't stop me from shooting it if I could afford one or didn't have the time or opportunity to get another. It seems like a waste to me to die with a brand new gun in the safe (unless you have two and you shoot one).

All my guns are shooters. The ones that have ended up seeing limited use have ended up getting traded or sold away to make room for another shooter.
SHOOT IT! SHOOT IT! SHOOT IT! SHOOT IT! SHOOT IT!
Or, as Skunk says, let us shoot it! Heck I'll even clean it when we're done ;)

God, why buy a gun you can't have fun with? It's like people that pay $1000 or more for a table and don't eat on it or touch it at all. Why the Hell the bother? A gun is meant to shoot. Did you buy it sell to someone or to enjoy it? Maybe it's me, but a true Beretta fan would never part with theirs. My compacts may be USA made, nothing unique as models go -- but their mine and I wouldn't accept any other gun in their place...but that's me. ;)
Shoot the gun, enjoy what you've paid for...:)

I have to clarify my statement....If you think that gun wil appreciate enough that in 5 years you could use it to buy yourself 5 shooters....then stash it...
But like the others said...everyone has a "limited edition" now a days.....So if it aint gonna be a good investments, shoot the snot out of it.

Even if you shoot it, it will still be worth $900 so long as you don't tear it up. If you are going to keep it and sell it for a profit sometime in the future, then don't shoot it. If you are like me and never sell anything, what difference does it make if you shoot it or not? You will always own it so why not enjoy it.

The guy you sell it to may shoot it 200,000 rounds without a hitch - you'll never know the sweet recoil, see how the smoke comes out the ejection port....
come on, shoot it! Lifes too short, as someone more concisely wrote above.

Shoot it, don't shoot it, whatever, just POST PICS! That is one of the most beautiful renditions of the 92FS I've ever seen. Yeah, yeah, it borders on the pimpy side, but I don't care!
Edited to add: Well, maybe you shouldn't shoot it after all. I couldn't bear for this to happen: http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?threadid=27598
