I guess I should have titled this post Piedmont area -Or- Statesville area shooters ...... I have arranged a group rate at an outdoor range and have had about 15 people or so from another board join up. The normal rate is $300 a year for memberships but with my deal I can get you in at $100 a year!!!!
If your interested let me know and I can get you more info!!!

We plan on having shoots and get togethers there and would like to extend the offer to folks from this board as well.

well I generally shoot out back for free, but I'd be interested in coming if for nothing else than just meeting other THR's and shootin some. My wife would prob enjoy meeting other women who shoot or at least wives of those who do.

Statesville...Iredell county= 45 minutes north of Charlotte.
I wish I had a place to shoot for free....I would invite everyone....not just others who will have to pay for a membership.

I've shot there with my Son-In-Law. He's the member.
Nice place with nice people.
They also have shotgun stuff. Trap. skeet, whatever you call it.
But, I wouldn't call Statesville WESTERN NC.

I appreciate the offer as well, but right now I don't have any long guns and don't get to the range often enough to justify an annual membership.

USMCSKI, Am from Union Co. (just East of Charlotte)and would love to come play sometime. We just had our gathering near Rockingham and have a tactical outing next weekend near Albemarle. After that I am clear other than a couple mission trips to the tornado/hurricane houses near the coast. I hang out at another site mostly but will be checking in more often here. Soon as the farm is surveyed we will have a 600 yd range(my driveway) at our disposal. It will be in Anson County-about 10 miles away from Marshville. Look forward to meetin/greetin some of you critters. wc
