These seem to be plentiful on the open market right now, at good prices. Anyone have any experiences with them?

I have 12 they are parkerized gray steel with a dark blue ant tilt follower wich I changed to a green one just for my own comfort ,My GI aluminums have the same follower,I have heard other people have problems I know the royal ordnance ones with plastic floor plate are lousy I dont know about the teflon black ones some people have complained about the gray ones not seating properly,Mine are all excellent they have no markings except at the bottom front on the curve a 2 is stamped in the weld no other markings and they work great,I have heard people say they can wear out the magwell but lets not forget our lower receiver pins hammer, trigger are steel and so is the bolt carrier and after 30K plus round out of my pre ban bushy carbine there is no wear from those steel components, look at the israelis they have been using alot of their M16s for the last 30 years and they are still serviceable old model#653 carbines if Im not mistaken, only there special forces and crack troops get new M4s every one else gets the 30 year old still kicking ??? rifles so dont worry abot wear try them in your rifle first see if it seats proper and holds the bolt operating the catch still you wont realy know until you load it,seat it and shoot dont pay anymore than $20 I got mine in a local shop 5 for $95 plus tax hope this info helps, and they are way stronger than the aluminums they are about 6oz heavier just way more durable havent had a mag related malfunction or any malfunction since I been using them, cant say the same for GI aluminums.
