Oh my Gawd,,, Monkey has a BHP? :what:
I hate the bumpers but I think they stick on and I think Brownells has them. Why not just buy SA mags?

In California, if you refer to yourself in the third person in a gunshop, they charge another 75 bucks for an extended background check and personlaity profile...

I dont give a damn WHERE monkey lives, but around here we dont insult people for common typographical errors, or refer to people as "ritards" while spelling the word RETARD incorrectly.
We are accepting of everyone here at THR, but dont get jerky and wear out your welcome. Does monkey understand?
By the way, the wise crack about you referring to yourself as "monkey"...like some sort of WWF wrestler, is to me, not all uncalled for.
If you MUST refer to yourself that way, that is your perogative, but expect people to be miffed by it, and possibly comment on it. That is something you bring upon yourself.
And all of this aside, we keep thinks civil here, and do NOT resort to name calling.

Thats right! I can't spell worth a darn and I don't even care. How do you use a spell checker on this thing anyway? I could use that.
BTW, Pachmayr makes some mag pads but I don't know who is selling them. The pads just stick on with an adhesive like rubber cement or something.

Aside from all of this, can someone clue me in on what a mag pad is?
I dont think I have heard of these before. Are they so the mag doesnt break, or get bent when you let them free fall to the ground?
Here they are, direct order from Pachmayr:

Monkey White reminds me of "The_Claw" who used to post on 1911 forums. Only difference is the_claw was very funny where as monkey white is extremely annoying.
Oh ya, Pachmayer sells the basepads.

Wow...thanks for all the back-up guys...and Mr. Monkey, my post was very light hearted.....I was only joking with you and judging from your style, I assumed you would have gotten it...Serpico make mistake....as for the Retard line, I would hazzard a guess that you spelt it that way on purpose to be funny...but since I have a relative with downs syndrome, it didn't really tickle me...

A mag pad, bumper pad, base plate pad or whatever you choose to call them has several uses. They help to fully seat the mag because you can use the palm of your hand, the protect the base plate during drop free mag changes, and they sometimes can provide a little extra area for removing a stuck mag or sometimes a little extra room for your hand to grip the gun.
I think that is it.
