Bianchi retention holsters

I just got back from bass pro. I wanted to buy a holster for my new Colt, but all they had there was a leather bianchi with some kind of 'auto retention' feature that locked into the trigger guard and was released with a little lever. It did seem to work, but added bulk, maybe not such a big deal on an OWB holster. What do you think about these holsters? Should I go back and buy it or buy some other holster online? (my only two options). I'd like to get an IWB too, and I don't have a lot of money to spend.

I can't comment on Bianchi's retention holsters; but they make first class stuff.

My daily carry rig is a Bianchi Model 82 Carry Lock.
I have 2 of them one for my prosize Kimber and another for my BHP.
They work great, pretty close to as fast as a non-retention and it is going to take a lot of work to get the gun out of the holster with out releasing the lock. The operation is really intutive and simple. I don't notice the extra bulk. I also use this holster in IDPA so I have presented from it a great deal and it has never let me down.
I recommend it if you want the extra retention, if not there are better options.
Good Luck.
