I'm stumped and need help dating this thing.
I have a FN Browning Safari Grade High Power Rifle in .300 Winchester Magnum. It's a Short Extractor Mauser action. Serial Number is "591## L70". I've tried the Browning site here Browning - Date Your Gun (http://www.browning.com/services/dategun/index.asp) and here ProofHouse - Browning (http://www.proofhouse.com/browning/index.html). The Browning site had no info for these rifles and the ProofHouse was very incomplete.
Does anybody have any ideas or a book that they could direct me too. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
