The forecast is for rain, chance of up to half an inch, 80% chance.

What do you all want to do?

Were you planning on coming, Swampmeister?

Any thoughts?

Want to move it to Sunday? It's SUPPOSED to be nice on Sunday...

I just saw the weekend weather report too. I think we should cancel and reschedule for another weekend. This Saturday looks like it will be a washout and Sunday is still in question.

Yeah, I think you're right, Ian.

OK.

We're cancelled.

Crap!

Up here, if we didn't shoot in the rain, we'd never shoot at all.

Crap. This really sucks. I don't have many free weekends this summer. Anyone up for an evening shoot during the week? My commute home puts me within minutes of Bull Run, I can swing by after work.

Bummer!

I think mtnbkr has a good idea. I believe BRSC is open to 9 PM.

Well, the only problem with that is that I work later, but if I give enough notice I can make arrangements.

An evening shoot would be fun, though.

Let me take a look at my calendar.

I'll go during the weekday.

"I'll go during the weekday."

WHO ASKED YOU?

Oh, wait. We did. Never mind. :D

Tell you all what...

Let's see how the long range forecast for next week starts to pan out, and maybe we can hit the range Wednesday or Thursday evening.

Can everyone deal with notice that short on an event like this?

I'll try to make an initial call Sunday evening...

Notice the day before should be plenty. Hell, I may even be able to make it if I hear the morning of...

Friday's out though. Going out of town Fri morn and won't be back till the following Tues.

It's 9:25AM and it's not raining :banghead: . I'm going to change the oil, mow the grass, and gripe all day long. :p

It is 10:04, and it is pretty dark now...

Look at it this way, if we had gone, we would've had the usual Saturday monsoon, and we'd still be griping

Yeah, I know, just running my mouth... :p

Well, looks like we could have easily done it, guys.

Shoot.

Oh well, that's the chances you take with this year being such a strange one for weather.

Some evening this coming week, lads...

As I sit here watching it get brighter and brither, I'm getting more and more pissed...

Sigh.

Yep, we could have done it. But if we had done it, we couldn't have done it. Somehow that makes sense to me, but, then again, so did Catch 22.

Many of you may not have known this, but Murphy was a weatherman.

Well, at least I got the front yard mowed (back wasn't as bad), the roses trimmed (all this wet weather is wreaking havoc with my roses, lots of powdery mildew), and the oil changed in the 4Runner. This was my first time changing the oil in the SUV and I had to figure out how to get the skid plates off AFTER spilling oil from the filter all over them. Oh well, next time I'll know to take the plates off. :banghead:

This was a lot more fun than busting clays.....

:)

Sometimes God does have a sense of humor...

I had to run to Manassas today, and got lost trying to avoid a monumental backup on Route 28.

Guess where I ended up coming out?

At the entrance to Bull Run Regional Park...

Sigh.

The weather folks really screwed us by predicting an 80% chance of rain.
