However this different version actually looks very cool:

And then there is this one... that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that just because you CAN, doesn't mean you SHOULD.

It has now been proven, in great detail, that there really are weapons I wouldn't own!
I once thought that impossible.

I saw that Werle site a while back and posted the address on the Luger forum. The Luger site has been strangely quiet; I think they all had heart attacks.

George, I remember reading about a Luger Carbine that was a very limited production, March's calendar looks like what I remember seeing. And April's pisol looks like the Luger with the peek-a-boo grips to help the USGI keep track of the shots remaining (although that front sight is suspect).
The rest are a sin, plan and simple; C&R does not mean Collect & Ruin.

OK,
If one is going to have such a thing, one needs a snail drum rather than a regular magazine. So, where is the snail drum?

[Dr. Evil] Throw me a frickin' bone here people. All I asked for is a friggin' chopped Luger carbine with a frickin' laser on its head. [/Dr. Evil]
Seriously, do some of these conversions irreversibly alter the Luger? IIRC, the Luger has a screw fit fixed barrel and many have mounting points for a stock.

Duct tape---the handiman's secret weapon---Red Green
While I respect the legendary Luger---I would own one of those---if the price was right----and the if they got the magazine capacity up.
So it turns out--I'll probably never own one for practical reasons.

I think I just heard all the crufflers in my area running to the hardware stores to buy rope. Good thing I keep a stash in my truck, right next to a copy of my C&R. :fire:
