Well, after putting everything on this 870 POLICE MODEL 12GA with night sights, she cost a teeny bit more than $1000.00, ...i built 2 exactly like this one.
12 GA 870 Remington POLICE MODEL with adj. night sights
mesa tactical stock adaptor and 6 position stock
Hogue grip
mesa tactical left AND right side-saddles, CNC machined aluminum.
Surefire G2 light
CNC steel tube clamp
CNC aluminum light/tactical rail (awesome $26 3-sided rail)
Brooke is cute, but not THR

The Pictures came up for me, but one did not last.
Your shotgun looks like the "Ultimate" one that was poised as the best by a member awhile ago.

It was $1000 for all of that?

How does it do with 3.5" 000 buckshot?

I know I do not get around often and it might not be totally THR, but I am speaking my mind, I do not like it.
It is too wide with both side saddles they would get in my way when shooting from concealment or around barricades and they fully loaded add a lot of weight to the gun. More weight slow it down for initial movement and tends to keep the gun moving. Also I prefer a wood stock that has been fitted to me and the LOP I have. I do not like attachments on my fighting gun, maybe a built in light on the fore-end, but the more simple or K.I.S.S. it is the better it is for me.
I use a 1300 with a 22" VR barrel and the only add on I use is a 2 shot extension occasionaly, which is not on it for now.

How can the ultimate shotgun be a) a pump and b) feed from a tube magazine? Enter the 21st century.
I like pumps and I do most of my sport shooting with a tube gun, but the Saiga is simply superior as a combat gun.

A: saiga is junk, the only autoloading shotgun that is reliable is selectfire and made ONLY FOR THE US ARMY.
B: I have $1200 Benellis, but if the crap hits the fan, only the pump is reliable in a muddy and mucky environment.
C: nearly 100% of shotguns are tube fed, join reality kiddo.
D: Saiga is NO SHOTGUN any police use, or anyone with half a brain.
E: you dont know what youre talking about :D

It's a Russian firearm, what did you expect? Any US law enforcement use an AK? From stuff floating on the nets, Russian law enforcement uses the Saiga shotty.

an 870 will serve you well, but don't be so quick to slam Saigas.

i disagree completely. the option to throw a 10 round mag into a reliable AK shotgun is the best for defense IMO. if you have a tube-fed shotgun for defense, you must keep it loaded at all times (imo, unsafe in a household). i can keep my mags seperated from the firearm itself and have a fully loaded auto in under 3 seconds. btw, my saiga has never failed. the best part is, the safety is so deliberate, you can never accidentally have it on safe, even in pitch black. i hope you objectively review saigas in the future...you will change your mind.
question: wouldn't you like something that can store those 12 shotgun rounds that are on the sides of your gun? maybe a mag that can be quickly inserted?
ask these guys for opinions on their saiga-12s:

i bet Tromix has sold at least 1 of these:
Tromix Saiga 12ga Select-Fire, 8"

Okay, I see that Dave already locked this thread, but I'm sneaking in under the wire:
A: saiga is junk, the only autoloading shotgun that is reliable is selectfire and made ONLY FOR THE US ARMY.
Yeah, I've only got about 7,000 rounds through a Saiga. I've had two malfunctions. What a piece of commie garbage.
B: I have $1200 Benellis, but if the crap hits the fan, only the pump is reliable in a muddy and mucky environment.
And I've only got 60,000 rounds through various 870s, but I use a Saiga. I'm such a fool.
C: nearly 100% of shotguns are tube fed, join reality kiddo.
And I can speed load 4 shells into a tube gun in under 2 seconds. I shoot competitively. And my favorite shotgun is my Saiga. I'm such a darn fool kid.
D: Saiga is NO SHOTGUN any police use, or anyone with half a brain. Sorry, can't type... Missing half my brain. Especially since the Saiga came out AFTER most police departments abandoned shotguns to go with 5.56 carbines.
E: you dont know what youre talking about
And this is coming from somebody who's original thread title was called "Sex and Violence" and had an 870 with a bunch of stuff stuck on it on top of a picture of Brooke Burke.
Just had to set the record straight.
