I scan knifeforums.com once in a while. Recently some person or persons unknown has been emailing members of that forum & offering prime Randall knives for way-below-market-value prices. This unknown is somewhere in Russia. Smelling a scam, nobody has taken the plunge yet.
A couple of days ago on eBay, a brand new seller from Russia offered a number of very nice Randalls. Too bad the photos & descriptions were copied straight from other auctions by 'real' sellers. When I checked earlier today, eBay had axed the phantom auctions.
Is this the beginning of the eastern European version of the "Nigerian millions" scam?
It's always something...
