I found corrosion *inside* my brass.

This is alarming. I have a whole batch of FC 223 Rem brass. I was shining a flashlight inside one case to see if media had been left inside and I noticed that there is greenish corrosion all over the inside of where the bottleneck is.

There is a patch of this inside every single case of this batch of brass, and some of it in some other batches too.

I don't understand why it's there. This was factory new, noncorrosive ammo that got picked up and placed in an airtight, humidity free container after it was fired.

Does this happen with your brass? Is my brass safe to fire?

It's not really where a brush could reach easily. I sectioned one case with a cutting disc. It's definitely corrosion but not very much of it. I think it's due to whatever comes off of the primer, because it's only prevalent on one type of brass (FC 223) and not others (LC nato).

It seemed to be mostly surface corrosion, so I'll let it slide.
