Average price depends on the way the wind blows. MR just made a bunch, and nobody has one in a movie.. you can see them go for as little as $890 for the .357. MR isn't doing another run for a bit, and stock is low, and it was just in a hot flick. You can pay $1300 if you can find one.

This is pricing for a new mark XIX, which is what I recommend you stick with if you want the least trouble prone version. (feed it right, clean it right, and shoot it like the instructions tell you, and it is just fine reliability wise)

Magazines are cheapest at auction, but not terribly common it seems. I like the older factory mags, they are easier on the fingers, the newer ones seem kind of sharp.

As for spare parts, it't magnum reaserch and that's it basically. The only thing it wears out regularly are the springs, and pricing isn't prohibitive on them.
