Does anyone have an honest opinion on the performance of the Ontario RTAK? I have heard a 50/50 mix of both good and bad reviews. Any one here with anything to contribute?

I also notice that a great many machetes out there are made from non-stainless steel. Any recommendations for stainless machetes?

To hso: It seems that whether or not one likes the RTAK pretty much depends on one's tastes. However, would you feel comfortable including the RTAK in your survival kit for a foray into a tropical area?
