I'm looking at putting a GI length guide rod on my Kimber Compact gun & need to find a rod that will work as well as a reverse plug that is closed-faced like the standard version.

I know such a thing exists, I've seen it, I just don't remember where or who made it. I've looked all over the Brownell's website, but no dice.

Thanks.

The only reverse plugs without holes that I know of are Clarks.

Now whether a G.M. or Commander plug will fit your Kimber mutant is an exercise left for the student.

Otherwise, a plug with hole will work fine with a GI guide; that is how my Springfield Ultra Compact is set up.
