Yeah, A shop I was doing work for years ago sold them.
A cut down .410 bore single shot that competed with the old Snake charmer shotgun.
I believe you may be correct about them using an action similar to the Stevens Model 94 or the Brazilian CBC single shot.
They were built by Kimmel Firearm Company and they weren't cut down models of an exsisting manufacturers product as far as I know.
Blued with hardwood forend and pistol grip.
They were not super popular and I imagine not a whole heck of a lot were sold.

This guy has one in 20 and wanted 175:what:. I offered 75 and will take 100.
It is clean and in good shape but has to be one of the ugliest guns to ever come out of the factory.
Saw a 410 on Gun Broker that looked pretty beat up for 75.
If anybody ask why I want it, I say why not.:D

I just happen to have one of these. It's brand new in the box and AFAIK never been fired. I received it as a gift from my Grandmother who decided she no longer needed a gun since she couldn't handle it anyway (She's almost 90).
It's a short barreled 20 Gauge (18.5" Barrell) with a very small stock. The instructions state that it should NEVER be fired from the shoulder... it's ment for Hip Fireing.
