I've heard some good things about the CZ-82 now that it's C&R eligible. I just sold my PA-63 and I'm wondering if the CZ has a bigger grip. Anybody here have good\bad experiences to share?

AIM has them for $199 with 2 magazines

I have a CZ-83 in caliber 32 ACP. I think it's a great gun ... very reliable, accurate and comfortable to shoot. I definately recommend it. The grips are not very big though ... I never held a PA-63 but I think the grips maybe similiar in size.

The CZ is about a third larger than the PA63 and all steel. Even in 9X18 its much easier to hold and shoot. Very well made firearm. More or less the same gun as the CZ 83 except for the shape of trigger guard.

I love mine, it's quite accurate for a compact pistol and fills the hand pretty well too. The grips are a bit fat for concealed carry, though it can still be done fairly easily, and for the price asked, you can't go wrong.

If I had a C&R FFL, I would be picking up a bunch of them and giving them out like candy to all my friends. :D

Very nice guns for the money and quite accurate with good ammo. A word of caution when using cleaners is its best to remove the grips first. I use Breakfree Powder cleaner for general cleaning, and it melted the grips. This is the first time I ever had an issue with this cleaner on plastic.

I've got the CZ 83 in 32 ACP and 9x18. I also have the PA-63.

They are very different guns.
I'll bet you would like the CZ82 (if the overall condition is good enough, I haven't seen one in person).

The PA-63 has got a lousy DAO first trigger pull. The CZ-82 is a MUCH better pistol. You won't go wrong.

I just took my two new pistols out, a PA-63 and CZ-82 (both from aimsurplus).

The CZ was so much nicer in almost every way.

I wish the CZ had a decocker, other than that, its nice. Amby safety and mag release, great feel, sights big enough to see, reasonable mag capacity.

I think I need another one...

The CZ-82 is an awesome little handgun. I love mine, its accurate, cheap, has a comfortable grip and just seems to be of high quality.

Cheap and dependable with world reknown CZ quality.
why would anyone even consider a Makarov or copy over a CZ is unbelievable.

You will be impressed with the trigger in both DA (smooth) and SA (light)
along with the accuracy and reliability with good mags. Superior sights
to a MAK or most any pocket caliber pistol. My old CZ83 even had tritium nites.

Actually, If I lived in a place where I needed a concealable CZ with good firepower and had abundant and dirt cheap 9mm MAK ammo.

The CZ82 or CZ83 would be an ideal choice.

Criminals in S. Africa prefer the MAK pistols...plenty left over from their Comrade days, and MAK ammo is much cheaper than 9mm Luger.

I'm glad to see all these CZ82s on the market. Nothing makes a good convert to Uhersky Brod than an affordable piece such as these excellent pistols.
