Anyone know where there is a rifle range around Charlotte, North Carolina?
Know about the Gastonia Parks rifle range but it's never open to the public always having some kind of class for National Guard or police.....
And Shooter's in Statesville wants $300. a year before you can use the rifle range :eek:

Need to find someplace that has a pistol range and a 100 yard min. rifle range.

It's such a bummer to have a couple of rifles that can't be shot and what fun is shooting in a indoor 25 foot range?:(

Am looking for a shooting partner also....:rolleyes:

You can try Charlotte Rifle and Pistol club in Indianland, but Meck Wildlife off Sam Wilson is above $300 a year to join, and I think Long Creek in North Charlotte has a waiting list. The Gastonia Police range is open Saturdays for a small fee.

Just heard that there is a range of of Wilkinson Blvd by I-485 but the guy couldn't give me the name or excact location of it. Anyone heard of it?

Charlotte Pistol and Rifle range is out of my league, and you have to be sonsored by a member.....don't know anyone that is a member.....
Gastonia Police range was closed on Saturdays the last time I checked, about a month ago.

That is a problem around Charlotte. Plenty of pistol ranges but next to nothing for rifles.

Shooters Express in Belmont has an indoor rifle and pistol range. I've never been there.

I wasn't aware of the Rowan County Wildlife Association Range!! I'll have to check that out.

I feel the same way about the Charlotte Pistol & Rifle Club. To many hoops to jump through to join. Nice facilities though!! I drove down there for an open house once.
