Just ran across a fellow selling off his deceased father's guns...has a replica Model 1873 Springfield trapdoor carbine in .45-70, engraved, in the box never fired, made by Harrington & Richardson. Probably dates from the 1960's or so. He is asking $650 for it. Fair deal?

Sounds way too high to me... I saw one of those in my dealer's inventory a couple of months ago. He was asking $375.00, and said he was only that high because it was NIB, never been fired. He would sell a used one in the $295 range, he said.
