Hello again everyone, as I mentioned in my previous thread I will be buying a Ruger here pretty shortly but my local shop has everything tagged at full retail, the prices I see as being pretty common on this board are far less than retail so I was wondering if you guys could give me links to online retailers so I might be able to get a price match and save myself $150-200.
Thanks alot.

You might talk a look at the Big 5 near you....I've seen more than a few "deal" posted with these guys.
The P series auto pistols, before re-bate of $40, are running about $390 in most of the shops I've been in lately--Utah and Texas. The most expensive P97 I've seen was $399, Texas. Least expensive was $369 in Utah.
A couple of the more creative seem to have raised thier prices to MSRP in an effort to collect the rebate margin

You should be able to find the P series for about three and a half. If you pay more, you're gettin' ripped. In my opinion, these pistols represent the best value for your money today. Accurate, fun to use and incredibly reliable. I've been shooting a P97 for some time now and it never, EVER, fails. I actually enjoy it more than any other .45 I've ever used. It lacks the grace and beauty of my old Colt, but WOW....it sure can shoot!

Academy has the P95DC for $319.00 before rebate. Their prices
are pretty good but not the lowest in town. I really like the P95.
I have two of them, great guns for the price.

You might try the Turner's Outdoorsman chain of stores. They have one in the San Fernando valley along with Long Beach and Norwalk and a number of other locations including Torrance. Since B&B and B&E went out of business things have gotten higher here.
In taking into account online prices you will have to pay shipping plus gunshop fee to receive the gun which is offset by no sales tax. Bain & Davis in San Gabriel used to do this for $50 including DROS - don't know what their current price is.
