Local shop has had for some time on consignment (I believe from Ernest Langdon himself) THE working prototype for the Beretta Billenium with 3 slides and barrels (.40, 9mm, and I don't remember what was significant about the third one) with all sorts of bells and whistles. What is something like this actually worth?

Slightly less than they are asking for it.

Seeing that they're basically urban legends in CA, I'd only be guessing on value. Plus, what is the condition of the frame, barrels & slides? How many rounds have been shot in each respective caliber?

If the gun is used, but still in great shape with the box and papers, all by itself about $900. A NIB gun in Texas is around $1100-$1200. At anything over $1200 you might as well superglue it to the table. The added slide and barrel assembles would add corresponding value, say $200 per combo.

Did you say prototype and .40. Where is this gun and how much do they want for it. This Amish wants to know.

Anything that has been blessed by Ernest the Tactical Midas Langdon is worth it. Heck I worship his bucket of cracked locking blocks....

Seeing that they're basically urban legends in CA, Ain't it the truth?

And it's a damn shame too. That looks to be one fine weapon. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it has a safety and not a decocker, right?:)

Skunk, I believe this was Ernest Langdon's gun. Not just something he worked on.
