Back in the early 90's I wanted one of the heavy ones like this (http://home.bellsouth.net/p/s/community.dll?ep=87&subpageid=53105&ck=), but never got around to buying one. Then the brand disappeared. They didn't seem to turn up on auction sites when I took the time to look for one.
Recently, I ran across this (https://www.countryknives.com/store/brand.asp?brand_name=Executive+Edge)merchant. For reasons to which I'm not privy, he seems to have the whole line in stock. Back in manufacture? Old 90's stock he never sold? Some other third thing?
So, I bought one of the 610 Outdoorsman Classics from him. Good price. Really, really cool knife. If you ever wanted one of the Executive Edge offerings, maybe you ought to contact that guy in case it turns out he is simply selling off old stock.
Edited to add: The packaging and paperwork that came with the knife indicate that it is original early 90's stock. Whatever he has on his shelves would appear to be all he is going to have. Believe I may have to order one of the pen style ones before they're gone...
