This time I've got a different problem. I need to replace several of the sling loops on the butstop, and every time I attach them, they turn out being wobbly. Any way to fix this? Answers in the next few hours would be greatly appreciated.

I assume you are screwing into wood right? The holes are a bit oversize and worn so the screws arent gripping.
Here is what you do, get a box of old fashioned wood toothpicks, the round kind, and a small bottle of wood glue. Remove the old sling loop from the stock, break the toothpicks, two or three in half and coat them with glue. stuff them in the screw hole in the stock, cut off the excess and allow to dry for a few hours. Now you should be able to put the screws in nice and snug.
Note you may have to drill a small pilot hole in the repair patch. Also a proper sized piece of hardwood dowel could be substituted for the toothpicks.

They never were real tight anyway. Been using the same screw and loop since the Krag.
Put a small dab of AcraGlass in hte bottom of the hole for the loop and screw them down. Don't forget the release agent.
