I have a Stag M4 I'm expecting in a few days. It has the bayonet lug.

M4 16" barrel. Will the M9 Bayonet fit this rifle?

If not, which one will?

Rifle can be seen here:

Many thanks.

Probably not. It will fit on ones with M4 length gas system with a 14.5" in barrel or 16" with a mid-length gas system, but not a 16" with a M4 length gas system.

barrel's too long.

You need either a midlength gas system on a 16" barrel, or a shorty gas system on a 14.5" barrel to fit a bayonet.

(or standard rifle gas and barrel length, of course)

edit... d'oh. Jorg beat me to it. :)

Or get a slipover XM style flash hider from Bushmaster. Should put the 22mm you need to support the bayo more than far enough back.
