I just got back from lunch and in my absence, the big brown truck had delivered 1000 150gr Hornady interlocks in .308 and 200 XTPs in .357. Now to get the LnL fired up again!

PS, any pet loads for these bullets? I load 30.06, 7.5x55, .38spl and .357 Mag.

Heck, my question is: How did you get them free?

I got mine yesterday. After I finally got around to sending in my vouchers, it was less than 2 weeks before they showed up.

What 357? If it's a good strong framed one work up to around 14.8 grains of 2400 with those 158 XTPs. THIS LOAD IS AT OR ABOVE MOST CURRENT PUBLISHED MAXIMUMS. APPROACH WITH CAUTION. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

I wouldn't use those xtps in a 38 special load. You won't get enough speed to open them up reliably.

I got them from the Get Loaded promotion, when I bought their dies and a Hornady LnL AP. I was surprised, having sent them in last week, and expecting the 4-6 weeks they said it would take. I have a Taurus Model 66 to shoot the .357s in and a bunch of milsurp rifles for the .308s. Also, I forgot to mention that the XTPs are 125gr, not the 158s.

My Taurus model 66 .357 magnum is 20 years old, has stood up to the rigors of some warp speed reloads, and still shoots as good as the day I bought it. But would not use the XTP's in 38 specials, either. Unless you load some +P+ loads.
