What to do when you finally get the #1 handgun on your wishlist

I've been wanting one of these for as long as I've been into handguns. Now I have to find a new entry for the #1 spot on my wishlist, but that's a nice dilemma in which to find yourself. :D
Yeah, it's a refurb with a refinished slide. Yeah, even used it commanded as much as two NIB Glocks. Yeah, it has its weak points, namely a less-than-durable finish and a gas tube that gets mighty toasty after 50 rounds.
But, damn, it's a great handgun.

Good work, Lend. Assimilation is on schedule...
Now, nightsights and you need to look into one of the uber finishes: NP3 or hardchrome. Then you'll need to get a second one so that you have one to shoot while the 1st one cools off. Then you're gonna need to get an M13. Of course, by this time you'll have purchased 4-5 different holsters.
You see, there is no room for another handgun on your list.

Dunno. It's never happened to me. BTW, nice choice for #1. :)

Well, I would say your #2 choice just got a promotion.
The insanity will never end.
Must get more guns... Must get more guns...

I just got one of those a few months ago. Aren't they some gun? Really 'pointable', quick reload-back-in-action, extremely accurate, good carry gun, low bore axis, very fast shooter, etc. I love mine.
To answer your question: MAKE A NEW LIST!

P7s point unlike any other handgun, well at least in my experience. More like my $9.00 Staple Gun. The P7M13
even more so.
I wonder if others have found the P7 to feel odd?
Probably THE perfect 9mm for some people.

CZF, yeah, it's an odd duck for me as well, but I was raised on 1911s. YMMV.
lend, well, the answer to your question is: go buys others just like it and a rail car full of mags.:)

The only rational answer: Shoot and enjoy!

Way to go lendsringer. Congrats on the P7. The solution is come up with with something more exciting for a new #1. Like maybe a Vickers built 1911, or a Custom rifle.

That's an easy one. Hard Chrome is the official finish of the Cult of the P7. Check in at Park Cities Tactical (http://www.parkcitiestactical.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_daily) for details.

OK, being relativeley new to a lot of this, I'm going to ask. What is it (other than a P8)? I mean what make? Looks like an unusual piece, to be sure.

Start a new list of course, or work on your rifle or shotgun list.
Geez do I gotta think of everything? :)

You can actually keep a #1 on the list? There are 4 or 5 currently fighting for the top spot. Even when I get one, another pops into view to take it's place.
Best thing I did was write a list of certain items I wanted, or a category I wanted to fill. It keeps me hunting in more of a straight line instead of zig zagging to whatever I see.
Next on my #1 list, 9mm Full Size, Beretta 92 type, or the SS Taurus 92 model. And a compact carry 9mm. Either G26, or Kahr PM9.
