.45 Colt caliber 298 grain bullet in old S&W...crazy huh

I'm wondering if my 2nd model S&W in .45 Colt caliber is strong enough to shoot Meister 298 grain RNFT/HB bullets. They are swaged up from .44 caliber to .454 to handle a soft load of 5.0 grain Bullseye powder.
My revolver barrel is .454 rifling, the cylinder chamber throats are around .457diameter...hence, the reason for the HB.
5.0 grain of Bullseye will generate 605 fps velocity for a 300 grain bullet. Though I have no idea what the CUP is going to be about?
I certainly don't want to harm this great old gun, so will just put this out as a question  and not really shoot these in the old timer.
But it would seem like a heck of a man stopper if that low velocity would cler the barrel.

>hence, the reason for the HB.<
As long as your pressures are within SAAMI limits, there should not be a problem. However, the Meister bullet may be a little hard to make the hollow base effective. Most hollow-based bullets were on the order of 1:20 and would bump up quite easily. Meister are on the order of 92:6:2. At any rate, it will be interesting to see what happens; let us know.

BF, thanks for your interest on this scenario.
The Meister bullets are kind of softend up from the swaging pressure in my Lee Classic single stage press, they bumped up very easy. These bullets look pretty good, but don't think I have the guts to try them in my old 2nd model that was once a British contract revolver for World War 1.
I suppose I could resize them down to .452 diameter and try them in my Taurus Tracker 5 shooter, but here again is this revolver strong enough to handle SAAMI pressures.
Don't think I've ever exceeded 850 fps velocity in either gun.
The Taurus Tracker doesn't have a lot of length on its cylinder throat chambers and these Meister bullets are about as long as Saturn 5 rocket.
However, if any soul out there wants these six projectiles as is in .454 diameter to do some testing in say a Ruger revolver, be glad to send them on for experimental purposes.
I'm sure at 605 fps they would be pussy cats but can't take any chances in my minimum strength revolvers.
