Elcan Specter DR or Valdada 1.5-8x tactical ill

What are your opinions on the two above-mentioned scopes? I like the variable power of both, but the Valdada goes all the way to 8x, it is also a lot cheaper. The reticle on the Elcan seems a bit crowded.

I plan on using this optic for 3 gun and tactical matches.
