I start out with the 870 and the full choke for the first couple rounds of hunting them before they start getting wise, then we go with "Ol Nastiness", also known as "da annna-hill- ee- ator" . Ol Nasty is my SuperX2 3 1/2" 12 gauge, loaded with 3.5" high velocity turkey loads in #4 shot and sporting a Browning Turkey choke. I shoot backup/high birds and my partner takes first shot/low birds. Very few inside of 70 yards escape the two of us, #4 shot reaches a LONG ways on smaller birds. The puff of a crow with the turkey choke inside of 30 yards is cool, whooda thunk they had that many feathers:D :D :what: .

An 870, tight choke and 6s, sometimes 7 1/2s.
