What's the most cost effective route to get a P-7 besides donating a Kidney? I wouldn't mind saving up for one ,but I can't see dropping a grand when I already have a P225(same nich).

Try looking at the big distributors like www.southernohiogun.com and www.kyimports.com

Every now and then they have some police trade-ins for as low as $699. www.gunsamerica.com has some pretty nice P7 deals too. I got my last one off there. www.hkpro.com might have some for sale in the classified section too.

Every once in awhile, you do see a good deal for one, but the price has held pretty steady at a grand. Patience I guess will get you the deal you're looking for ;)
