I looked around a little bit and didn't see any threads reguarding
pic's of your reloading benchs. I take a lot of pride in my new bench , having anything in the right place (at least I try),having storge for stuff, etc. Anyway thought it would be cool to see other setups.
And heres mine:D

Just a couple of doors on Stanley cabinets.

And no, I don't own a single stage yet - working on it presently. I do a lot of things backwards.

Mine.Sturdy, portable, functional, and wife-approved.Not myideal set-u, but spacve is limited in a townhouse.I'll build a real set-up for my dedicated "gun room" when I get a house.

Somewhere around 600 handgun rounds a month, coming out of a couple of square feet of space.

As simple a set up as one can get.

I'd shoot more though, if I wasn't so afraid of running out of brass. :D

yeah we hunted him this past fall, he was 8 months at the time. got 4 birds, and he was pointing good. then he broke his leg in the back yard in a ladder on the jungle gym 2 weeks into the season. so we'll see how he does this year.

the unertl on the AR.... lol hehehehe well i had a cheap BSA scope and the unertl off my smallbore rifle. so we made some mounts and it worked. i love it, nice and clear 14 power and holds the zero perfect. i get mixed reviews, people either think its ugly or they think its the neatest thing. one guy told me its like putting 20" spinnin rims on a wagon....lol. i told him i think of it as putting a crate motor in a old 57 chevy. im happy cause i dont shoot smallbore anymore and i get to use my old scope on my new varmit rifle. -chris

Hey Colbyjack, just in case it was misunderstood, I was just shocked by the visual oxymoron, not trying to pick on you. This is coming from a guy who put a 3X9 rifle scope on a 22 pistol just to see how well it worked. So as long as the gun gods aren’t offended by the heresy it’s OK with me.:)

Hijack over, return to thread.

JoeHatley -- is that is a dorm room? :)

The desk reminds me of much dorm furniture -- and makes for a very neat setup you've got there.

Nope, no jest -- it reminds me of several dorms I've seen. Right now I have a room in a student-housing apartment (rather than a dorm -- grad students get at least this minor perk ;) at Temple University, and it's actually fairly spacious. (My bedroom is a triangular room -- really -- with the long side about 21 ft long.)

I didn't have room to build a reloading bench so I had to convert half of my work bench in the garage.

I have ~60 die sets that are in file folder boxes with the bullets and brass.
The powders are on a shelf.

strat81--That is a sweet bench. That's exactly the type of thing I plan on upgrading to when we buy a house finally.I like the shelves, and the fact that it looks REALLY sturdy. The wife would like it too, as it looks more like a semi-antique desk-type deal than a "bench".The color of the wood also matches all of our wood furniture too.Got a "classy" look to it (to me anyway, but I'm not know for my"class":D).Nice.

I made this bench from parts off of a big entertainment center that had been thrown away with a couple of new pieces of wood. :)

Here's mine, it's actually a "gorilla rack" from Costco. Serves for all gun functions, not just reloading.

That's a really nice looking mounting system -- a good idea! The ergonomics of reloading benches could be improved generally by such things.

I made a few mistakes. One is I need a bigger bench. Two more shelves and three I still want more lights. Inside in the AC is sure nice though!

This is really an entire room that shares space with my other interests. The first photo is the bench top. Just a home depot kitchen counter and cabinets raised up 3 inches. All "bench mounted" equipment is attached to a 2 x 10 piece of wood via countersunk bolts. I can then change out presses by removing clamps and the piece of wood. The RCBS is up right now, and the Dillon 550 is under the bench. I also have 2 MEC 9000G (12ga & 20 ga) and a 650 in 410. The overhead cabinets contain the dies, powders, tools, boxes etc. Above the cabinets are plastic bins with brass in them. The framed certificate to the right is my Curio and Relic FFL.

Have since added a second Dillion 550, one for small primer, one for large.
Makes things much quicker for me.
