Before Oregon Trail Bullet Co. (Laser-Cast) came out with their reloading manual, I requested some data from them when I ordered some of their bullets. They sent me several sheets of paper with .44 mag load data using their bullets. I'm just now getting back into reloading (new house, kids, etc. have kept me away too long).

Can anyone verify the load data from their manual for the 300 gr. hard cast bullet using H110?

The data they sent me reads: 300 gr. hard cast 18.0 grains H110 starting load and 20.0 grains H110 max load (no primer brand listed).

I'll be working up the load for a New Model Ruger Super Blackhawk.

Under 44 mag pistol, they show 20.0 grains of H110, velocity 1333, OAL 1.610. They add the warning "Do not reduce H110 or W296 loads more than 3% to start" and "Use WLP for all 44 magnum loads".
