Do they make peep sights for handguns?

Just curious if they make a peep or ring sight for handguns. May not be
fast acquisition, but maybe it would be good for target...

Well spank me, that brownell's has one of everything...

Now that I have some starting points, I'll have to see if I can find something for a 1911...

As others have posted, they do, but peep sights just don't work well on a handgun. Peep sights work well on a rifle because the aperture is close to the eye and the small diameter of the hole naturally aligns the eye with the front sight while not obstructing the field of view very much. On a handgun, that little hole is now about two feet away and virtually nothing can be seen through it. One of the UTM training Glocks I used in a Force on Force class was equipped with these sights and they were a liabilty. In short: bad idea.

the slide will poke your eye out. Ghost rings are nice. I shot a Glock with one once......chris3
