well, im having difficulty finding pictures of the adjustable sight conversion on saa type guns. even on clements web site i cant find them. so, will anyone take pity on me and shower this thread with pics of adjustable sight conversions on saa type guns?;)

I believe Jim March who frequents this forum has an adjustable front sight on his SAA, hopefully he can chime in. There are a few front sights that will allow for a change in front blade to adjust high or low. Right to left is another story. For adjustable rear sight conversions I have not seen one in quite a while.

Bowenclassicarms.com should have pics of a New Vaquero with an adjustable sight installed, if I recall correctly.

I have a custom dovetailed windage-ONLY adjustable front with the rear channel hogged out to match. I find this is a good compromise of sights and smooth thumbing action:

Note that most TRUE adjustable sight mods for the Vaquero/SAA class guns involves an S&W J-frame rear, probably from a rimfire kitgun or similar.

Here's mine that David did 5 years ago or so. Then he used the S&W J frame rear sight. Today he installs a sight of his own manufacture.

thanks, these were the ones i saw a while back. need to get a mill and start playing with my guns:what:. i figure the s&w is the way to go, dont want to try the ruger type with the pin, i would hate to miss with the drill on the pin part.
