Beretta Single-Stack Question

Just out of curiosity....
Will the 92-M series Berettas use the same magazines as the Modelo 1951's & the Helwans?
This question came out of a discussion I overheard at a gun store this weekend.

Beretta 1951 has the magazine catch on the lower left grip panel. The 92 M has its catch behind the trigger guard in the American position as actually introduced on the Luger. So even if the tubes were the same (And I don't say they are.) the notch is not in the same location.
