Anybody try to adjust the trigger on these? I own two, one isn't too bad but the other is just awfull, won't trip the hammer till it's about an 1/8" from the guard. Any input would be appreciated before I open this thing up. thanks for your time,

Have you asked Kel-Tec yet?

That would be the first step. Heck, if it's an actual "flaw" they might fix it for free.

Good argument no doubt, but I was trying to keep from having to box it up and ship it away.

I was thinking that if you asked them about the problem (as opposed to sending if off to them prior to asking), they might tell you the fix, or if one was even possible.

Them probably being the best source for such info. Not asking them first seems like skipping the obvious step.

You could also check the Kel Tec Owners Group (KTOG) on the internet somewhere, but there is relatively little info on the sub2k, they mostly tinker with the pistols. In my experience, the factory is rarely going to tell you how to monkey with the trigger for liability reasons. If it is an actual defect they will probably want to see it.

On a gun like this the probable fix is to replace parts anyway, these type of guns are usually not amenable to adjustment.
