hello all
a friend asked me if i would be interested in buying a '86 winchester 40-82, i replied it was a bit early for stupid questions:D. so we went to look at the rifle, the condition was not great the guy selling it had IMHO way overvalued the selling price, the main issue is the barrel is shot out & pitted, my questions are, how much would a repair cost? is the barrel repairable? would it need to be re-bored to a larger caliber?
