Mods, I could not find a more appropriate forum. Feel free to move this thread if a better forum is suggested.
I am beginning to redecorate my apartment. One fun thing ive done is assembled a shadow box to display ammunition. The problem is, I only shoot .38 SPL, .40 S&W, and 7.62x 39. I dont consider myself an ammo "collector", I am not looking for rare or valuable rounds... just a wide variety of the common stuff. For example, in the enclosed picture, there are 7 different .40 rounds, two of which are hollowpoints, one Wolf steel case, a CCI aluminum case, etc. I find that this is a great icebreaker for people who dont shoot to show them the variety of different kinds of ammunition. I find the aesthetic contrast between different rounds to be very appealing.

I am posting this thread to ask if anyone would be willing to send me a couple rounds of various different "styles" that I can mount in another shadowbox or two to "complement" my collection. Various rifle rounds would be fantastic (.308, 7.62x54, 45-70, 30-06) I would also love 9mm, .45, .380, .357, .25, and whatever centerfire you have that is lying around. If you would like to contribute, PM me and I will give you my address. I have no intention of shooting any of these, so it doesnt matter if they have powder inside, although I would request you inform me if you send anything of that nature. I only need 1 of each "kind".
I am willing to pay for shipping if someone generous sends a (heavy) variety. Alternatively, I am willing to reciprocate if anyone else wants to do the same thing. I dont expect two or three rounds to cost a lot to ship, however.
