Gunsmith for a P14/17 Enfield?

Can anyone recommend someone? The rifle has already been "sporterized" (sight ears ground off, etc...). I'd like to have it switched to "cock on opening" (probably via an already available kit/trigger upgrade) and have it rebarreled.
Current barrel is a .300 WinMag (may be original barrel rechambered) and will need to be unscrewed. Not completely sure on chambering, except that I'd like to go large diameter bullet possible without having to spend a buncha cash on the magazine stuff....

The E.R Shaw company advertises in The Shotgun News. They specialize in re-barrel work, cheap.
For a cock-on-opening conversion, you can buy a simple do-it-yourself kit from Gun Parts Corporation.
They developed the cock-on-opening conversion many years ago, and have sold large numbers of them, over the years.
I think they are drop-in, no major gunsmithing kits.

Dunno if the Gun Parts cock-on-opening deal is the old Dayton-Traister thing, but IIRC there's a minor amount of grinding, somewhere. (After over 50 years...:) ) But no big deal.
Somebody, years ago, made a flat floorplate for them. That definitely cleans up the lines of the piece.

The fellow who sporterized the thing basically bobbitted pretty much all of the stuff under the action. It actually doesn't look too bad.
The current stock is gonna go away. I talked with Jim Borden at the Supershoot, and I'm gonna get one of his glass stocks, and do my own pillar bedding job.
