If I get the PT-111, I can get it with night sights and two extra mags. If I get the PT-111 Pro, I get a new updated firearm. I can get a MK9, with one six round and one 7 round magazine in duo tone.

I would prefer people that have at least shot two of them or better owned a couple of them, to comment. However all are welcome to vote their feelings.

I am stuck between these for my next carry weapon.

Just from what I've read here, the Kahr seems to be a nicer overall pistol. The Jury is still out on the PT-Pro

I have been carring the duo-tone mk for about 3 months now. Flawless, easy to conceal(except weight), the best overall carry gun I've owned! I've owned a few(glock 26, Kimber ultra-carry, Bersa 380, Taurus 85, Taurus pt 111, and the list goes on) well until I bought the Kahr. :D The only gun I own that is easier to conceal is a p 32 that my wife took from me!!!:cuss: Not really as long as she's carring something she likes and she's comfortable with I'll let her keep it.

I was having a hard decision looking at all the stuff. Is there anyone, anyone at all that likes Taurus:p

Just kidding, this is what I need. My boss only lets me buy about one a year now because I have expensive taste. This one isn't quite as bad as the Wilson Combat from last year. It doesn't hurt that I'm an FFL either.

I had a problem with my Taurus PT-145...the factory Fixed it , and no more problems. I like Taurus!!!

twolf: A good number of people like Taurus revolvers and the all steel semi-autos. The Taurus semi-auto/semi-plastic pistols don't have a great following.

Rough call...........
The PT with nights and such.........na, nada, zip, zilch, zero chance.
The PRO....is very tempting. Since Taurus revised the ergonomics of an already comfy gun and gave it a good trigger.....it really is tempting. A Pro Ti with Nights would be even more tempting.
But the Kahr is in a class over the little brazilian shooters........
Simply put is just a better gun......machining, fit, finish, trigger, reliability, size..........everything.
But I love Kahrs........

I ended up getting a Kahr but instead of the MK-9, I got a PM9. The guy at Kahr told me that he had some demos in and that he had a PM9 for $419. I scooped it up. I had read some info on it here and found that the PM9 was basically the brother of the MK9 but with a sweeter trigger pull. Again all, thanks. I will post a range report when I get it.
