I know this sounds stupid, but how in the heck do you remove the bolt handle from the bolt on this thing? Manual says "remove the bolt handle with a firm tug". My a**!! I've tried pliers and visegrips, pulling from various angles, twisting, etc. This thing will not come out! Any suggestions? Otherwise, this thing looks very simple to dissassemble. BTW,it is the original factory handle. Thanks for any help!

It sounds like something is wrong, both of mine remove easily.
Try this, pad the receiver with a rag and use a thin screwdriver as a lever under the charging handle.

I found that shoe string or 550 cord or the like works good. Just wrap it around a few times and then pull up on it. Pops it right out for me.
