cz pcr discontinued?

i tried to get my local dealer to order a pcr for my wife. after 3 days, he said they were hard to find because cz quit making them.

finally found one myself at sportingarms, and it'll be here fri.

anybody else heard about this? i'm gonna call cz and check with them later and see what they say.

The 'ole "They don't make that any more, here.... why don't you take a look at this Sig, or Glock, or"., etc, etc:rolleyes:

There is nothing on the CZ forum (I'm one of the moderators) and I've found 4 PCR's listed by doing a 5sec search at some online auction sites.

Think I would find another local dealer:uhoh: or start calling some other dealers out-0f-state.

yep i heard that. i called cz usa and they said they were still making them, and had 40 in stock.

if my local guy is gonna start that, i'm finding another local dealer even if i gotta drive 50 miles to do it.

the pcr from sportingarms will be here fri. i'm gonna talk to the owner of the local place to see if he knows what his employee told me. if he does, i'm gone. if he feigns innocence i'll give him another chance and see what he says/does when i want to order something else.

He could just be mistaken....I tend to find that a lot in gunshop "experts."

By the way, you'll love the PCR (or your wife will). It's very accurate, fun to shoot and conceals well too, if you ever need to do that. My wife learned how to shoot with her PCR, she loved it!

WE hear that rumor every couple of years. The PCR sells very well most
Summers, and along with the P-01 (HOT!!!!) is doing especially well this
time around, and it isn't really Summer,yet..

i definitely enjoy my pcr. that's why i have to get one for my wife. she "appropriated" mine and i want it back.:)
