Nope, but Kershaw makes a good knife most of the time, or at least the Ken Onion ones are. Don't know about the others.

the kershaw Ken Onion series is completely legal in Kalifornia. It is not a switchblade, it is an assisted open.

biggriz,
Woah big fella! winstonsmith was just being tongue in cheek and didn't intend to get your hakkles up.
Also, the assisted opening knives are not illegal in CA (as of yet). They do not meet the definition of a switchblade and should be included in the language protecting one hand opening knives that Buck Knives and AKTI helped get in place.

Definitely legal (today), according to the link to CA laws I've read. It has a self-closing tendency near the closed position (you have to overcome a small spring force). And it does not open from gravity or the single press of a button.

I thought about returning fire in kind. But since this forum is named the high road, I figured I might take the high road.
Care to join me biggriz? :)
